Personal Information You Provide

When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. If you use the household sharing feature, we collect phone numbers you choose to share lists with.

Voice Data

When you use the voice input feature, your audio is streamed to Deepgram for real-time transcription. We do not store audio recordings. Transcribed text is processed by Groq AI to categorize your items (groceries, chores, trackers) and is then stored as structured text data only.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the App, including session counts, feature usage, and device information such as device type, operating system version, and app version. This data helps us improve the App experience.

Shopping List Data

Your shopping lists, chores, trackers, and related data are stored locally on your device and synced to our cloud database (Supabase) when you are signed in. In household mode, this data is shared with your household members.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the App
• Process your voice input into organized lists
• Sync your data across devices
• Enable household sharing features
• Send you notifications and reminders you have opted into
• Process subscription payments through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Improve and personalize the App experience
• Respond to your support requests

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Deepgram: For voice-to-text transcription processing
• Groq: For AI-powered item categorization
• Supabase: For secure cloud data storage and authentication
• Apple/Google: For subscription payment processing
• Household Members: When you enable household mode, your lists and items are shared with members you invite

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using industry-standard encryption both in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use Supabase with Row-Level Security policies to ensure users can only access their own data. Local data on your device is stored using secure device storage.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Deleted items are soft-deleted and permanently removed after 30 days. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our systems.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data through the App
• Delete your account and all associated data (Settings > Account Actions > Delete Account)
• Opt out of push notifications at any time
• Export your list data

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the App and updating the "Last Updated" date.
